Effect Of Betadex Sulfobutyl Ether Sodium On Solubility Stability Of Insoluble Polyphenol Chrysin
Time:2021/01/15
Class:NEWS
Chrysin is a kind of natural polyphenol brass compound, which is extracted from the wood butterfly of Bignoniaceae, and widely exists in honey and propolis. Through the continuous research of chrysin, its anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anti allergic, antibacterial, anti anxiety, aromatase inhibition and other activities have been revealed step by step. New mechanisms of action and active binding sites have been found and reported. Due to the various pharmacological effects and low toxicity of chrysin, it has been widely concerned. However, the structure of chrysin determines its poor water solubility and fat solubility. Oral administration of chrysin will produce a serious "first pass effect", which will rapidly form glucuronization on the 5-and 7-hydroxy groups and be metabolized in vivo.

Recently, it has been proved in foreign laboratories that the inclusion effect of sulfo butyl - β - cyclodextrin sodium (SBE - β - CD) on the solubility and pH stability of insoluble polyphenol Chr.

The phase solubility shows that the stoichiometric ratio is 1:1. FTIR, DSC, PXRD and SEM analysis confirmed the formation of the inclusion complex. In addition, 1H-NMR study showed that the possible inclusion mode was formed by A-ring of Chr, which was further confirmed by molecular model. In addition, the solubility of Chr / SBE - β - CD complex is 108 times higher than that of Chr, and the dissolution rate is faster. The pH stability curve showed that SBE - β - CD had protective effect on Chr at simulated pH. in vitro cytotoxicity test showed that SBE - β - CD had better anticancer activity on MCF-7 and HeLa cell lines than free Chr.
